Our hand-building classes focus on developing and refining clay-forming skills, and exploring form and surface for both functional and sculptural work. Basic construction techniques (including coil, slab, and assemblage) will be covered, along with surface treatment, texture and glazing. This class is structured for all levels of experience and will combine slide lectures and group demonstrations with individual attention from the instructor.
