June 17 - 21: THE HUMAN FIGURE: FORM & SURFACE WITH AMY SMITH

June 17 - 21

Participants in this workshop will draw from a live model, create vessels that reference the body, and apply figurative drawings to clay surfaces. All students will use cone 6 porcelain, and should expect to produce multiple pieces by exploring possibilities rather than creating finished work. (Bisqued work can be carried home or shipped.) Participants may hand-build or throw, and, while some clay experience is preferred, mastery of technique is not required - all that's needed is a fascination with the figure.

Space is limited to 10 students.
