July 15 - 19
In this workshop, Jennifer McCurdy will take participants through the process of throwing, altering and carving porcelain. Students will explore techniques of dry throwing and carving sculptural curves in order to add nuance, movement and excitement to clay work. The main focus will be on learning new processes (including firing strategies), but students will also have time to create their own pieces.
Space is limited to 10 students.
