Handbuilding for Children with Reda Awadala

Let your child express creativity in clay! This class is designed to guide children through the process of making clay forms of their own invention, or working from existing sketches or models. They'll explore color, shape and texture while creating fun and functional pieces, such as luminaries, small pots and animal figures. They'll learn how clay can be shaped, including pressing slabs, building with ropes, or working free form. They'll also learn how to sculpt using existing molds (and how to make molds, too).
