This 4-week course begins with a 30-minute demonstration, followed by two-and-a-half hours of instructor assistance. Students will proceed step by step: preparing clay, forming it on the potter's wheel, finishing the surface and having the work fired. Details such as tools, glaze properties and kiln safety will also be discussed.

Participants have a choice of class with studio access, or class with instruction only. Participants who choose limited access have studio access only on class days. Drop-in students are limited to class time only, additional studio time is not included.
