This 8-week course will explore a range of hand building techniques. Participants will learn how to work from a maquette, how to speed up coiling and how to add texture during the building process. Both soft and stiff slabs will be used, along with molds and tarpaper forms. Instruction will combine slides, lectures, demonstrations and individual attention from the instructor.
Mondays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Participants have a choice of class with studio access, or class with instruction only. Participants who choose limited access have studio access only on class days.
